Unluckily for us, we were only in the area for the day, looking for lunch and weren’t able to experience this delightful hotel’s rooms. We have marked our maps and plan on strategising an adventure that affords us a stay here in the very near future. On this first visit, we experienced genuine hospitality and a friendly environment. We really enjoyed admiring how this beautiful hotel was built with such care and accurate engineering: a delight for the senses while we waited for our lunch. Please see pictures of what we expect when visiting German establishments, and what we received: Eisbein, Kartoffelpüree, Sauerkraut, Senf und Bier, exactly as one would expect, pure perfection! I can’t wait to visit this establishment again

The Hof is an undiscovered gem in the middle of nowhere that I can highly recommend. The German charm, character and attention to detail made it stand out. We enjoyed our time here immensely and I would like to return again. Both our rooms and the food were punching way above their weight and yet were very well priced. I can see this being a great halfway house for car and bike clubs, or a good destination for a breakfast run.
